Okay, life has been so busy for us lately that I am just now finding the time to update our blog. Brock has changed so much in the past month....he is so much fun!!!
- He is sitting for long periods of time during play
- My favorite thing right now is that he is "chatting" with everyone and everything. He get his little mouth moving and tries to make repetitive sounds.
- He is loving food and eating 3 meals a day. He enjoys snacking on puffs in his highchair while I am cooking dinner. He is really good a chewing already but we haven't started any other finger foods. I am thinking we will try some toast strips this week.
- Laughs when he sees Sara and tries so hard to reach for her when she passes by us.
Loves bath time....he splashes like crazy. He splashes himself so much in the face that it takes his breath away at times. He has a blast! - He got his first cold over the holiday. I feel good that we made it 7 months cold free, but it was still hard. I think harder on Will and I than him though.
- I am now getting over the cold too....I have now learned to stay out of his face when he is sick.
- He loves he new cloth books and has enjoyed all of his new Christmas Toys so so much.
- Loves watching Disney Playhouse in bed with Mommy and Daddy when he gets up. Will and I enjoy our bowls of cereal in bed before he heads to work or the gym.
- He also rode in the cart at the grocery store for the first time yesterday. He out grew his carrier a long time ago so it has been difficult to go to the store w/ him. I decided to try it out yesterday and he did great.
This past weekend we spent some time in Tulsa from Friday until Monday. It was great to get out of town and we were able to visit w/ some family. My niece Hannah had a volleyball tournament Saturday there so Brock and I met up with them while Will worked. Pam totally ate up her time w/ the Brockster. He had a blast checking out all the people and the noises were super entertaining for him.

My nephew David....too cute
Hannah, Emma, and their coach's daughter
She looked so grown up!

Sunday Myranda and Mia drove up to hang with us for the day. Mia and Brock finally bonded. For those of you that don't know, Brock would get so upset around Mia for some reason. He doesn't cry about anyone except her so this bothered us of course. Finally he loved her and they had so much fun playing w/ one another. I think her squeal would startle him before....don't know. They played in the hotel and then we headed to lunch. They were so good and flirted with everyone around them. It was so much fun for Myranda and I too. Then we hit up babiesrus...love this store. I bought Brock exactly what he DOESN'T need....more clothes and toys. hahaMonday we had breakfast, did some shopping, and then hit P.F. Changs before we hit the road. I was getting Brock's cold so I figured some Chang's Spicy Chicken would help me to breath better. The road trip was easy and we didn't have to stop once. Hanging in the hotel after breakfast
