2 Month Checkup
Today Brock had his checkup. Despite the fact that I was nervous all morning for him...it went great. He was weighed, measured, and stuck w/ three needles. The poor lil' guy! After the doc came in and checked him out, she told us what we already knew...we have a healthy, growing boy on our hands. Then we waited for the nurse to come in and give him his shots. During this time Brock was happy while entertaining us with his smiles and baby talk. I think he really likes how that paper crackles underneath him. Then the nurse came, gave him his shots, and he only cried for about 30 seconds tops. Mommy scooped him up and "saved" him promptly after the nurse was done. He ate just fine, and then passed out before we made it to the car. He is doing great this afternoon, just a little fussy. Hopefully tonight goes well and he doesn't become super fussy on us.

just for perspective...Savannah was 16 pds at 19 weeks and 12 pds at her two month check up.

I am so thrilled that you transitioned your food blog into a baby blog for Brock. I love all your little stories and getting to keep up with how your guy is growing and changing. He looks so thrilled...what a lucky guy to have you as his mommy!
