Progress

I am happy to announce that we have officially retired the miracle blanket. Hooray! We first started with naps and after all his naps were swaddle free we decided to try it for bed time. Well, we really had no choice since he was pretty much rolling over and being swaddled face down just didn't seem safe. The first night started out rough, but he has now made it for about a week. I am so glad that he no longer needs the swaddle or the paci. My little man is growing up on me!
I feel like I say this all the time but man is he changing. We have still not accomplished the complete roll over...he needs to figure out how to pull that left arm out. He is going to figure it out soon though because now he just whips himself over so fast. Also, I know he would have rolled over from stomach to back yesterday. My mom was playing with him in his play yard thing during tummy time and he just rolled over but the side wall stopped him. So I took it apart so all the walls were flat and of course he was no longer interested.:)
I just love how he interacts these days too. He loves to hear himself yell especially in a room full of other people talking. He will yell and when you look at him he gets this proud look on his face like "hey, it worked." He is just too cute! He has finally noticed our dog Sara. He doesn't reach to touch, but he just stares and I mean stares. He gets real serious and just watches her. It makes me look forward to watching them play together one day.
Here are some pics of the past few days:
