Oreo Delight

My big sister, Pam, and her crew joined us for a little cook out yesterday. I have been dying to make this dessert ever since a friend of mine brought it over here when they joined us for dinner. It was a hit last night. I think everyone had at least two helpings of this one. Enjoy!

Ingredients
40 Oreos, crushed (save the rest of the pkg. to crumble on top)
1/2 cup butter, melted (1 stick)
1 block of cream cheese, softened
2 8oz. tubs of cool whip
2 4oz. pkg. of instant chocolate pudding
2 1/2 cups of cold milk
Spread the crushed oreos out in a 9x13 dish. Drizzle the melted butter over them. I mixed this all around to make sure all the cookies got coated in butter. With a spatula or fork press mixture firmly to form the crust.
Mix together the cream cheese and 1 tub of cool whip. Spread on top of crust.
Mix the milk w/ two pkgs of pudding. Spread on top of cream cheese layer.
Cover the top w/ the last tub of cool whip and sprinkle w/ crumbled oreos. Store in fridge until ready to eat....at least for an hour.
