Weekend Update

Will had Friday off, and let me just say it has been GREAT having him home so much again.:) Friday Brock got a boo boo outside. We were out walking in the yard and a red wasp came out of nowhere and went right for his face. He got stung right on his left cheek, and boy was he brave. He didn't even cry! I scooped him up and ran inside so Will could help me because I was already expecting the crying to start at any second. We checked out the sting for a stinger, put a cool washcloth on it, and still no tears. It did swell just a little but nothing serious and we all survived.;)

You can kind of see the little red spot on his cheek:(
Saturday, our friends Sarah, Brad, and Kate came up to watch football and hang out for the day. We weren't able to watch the Hog game but we still had such fun eating and visiting while the kiddos played. Sarah made some yummy cookies that Will and I are still munching on daily! I didn't take many pics but here are two of Brock and Kate in the Razorback gear.

Here is a belly pic at 19 weeks, 6 days. I can't believe we are halfway there already! It is amazing to be able to feel her move, and I am really looking forward to meeting her. I am still calling baby a her, but we will know for sure tomorrow morning when we do an ultrasound. Lately I have been pointing to my belly while talking to Brock and saying "baby." He gives me the funniest look like he is thinking "that is not a baby momma" haha!

You sure do have one brave little boy! I cannot believe he didn't cry! I bet that scared you guys....it scared me a little just reading it. GEEZ!
A few weeks ago I went to the store and stocked up on pumpkin because Sarah mentioned her mom saying that there was a shortage this year. I went a little overboard...but thanks to your recipes now I have lots of fun things to try so I can start to empty out my pumpkin cabinet!
